Once you have attended the voice acting training, we want to hire you to record your voice for our Advancement Leadership Training videos.
We are currently recruiting people with disabilities from Cheyenne, Casper, and Laramie to attend two sessions on voice acting. This virtual training will provide you with the tools to become a better voice actor. The skills you learn from this training can assist you with finding employment opportunities with using your voice. Encore will be offering voice acting contracts to those that attend as well to be voice actors for our Advancement Leadership Training videos. We pay a minimum of $20/hour for your voice recording time.
We are encouraging you to invite someone, Direct Support Professional/DSP, family member, friend, or others to attend the trainings with you that can been a support for you. We recommend this be a person who you can count on to help you rehearse your lines prior to recording. We will provide the scripts for you to learn and then come to you to record your voice for the Advancement videos.
This project is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Wyoming Legislature.
